Another shot of the cutter head and the OTA positioned to cut on the internal design. This design was a Barleycorn which was taken from the manual. You want to be very careful of the depth of the cut in different types of woods, I found that Pink Ivory for example will handle about 1/32 of an inch to maybe a 16th, but certainly no deeper on anything intricate. You should be able to gauge it after a few designs but at first it is difficult to know when you are going too deep until after the design is done.
